Feeding Therapy

During the feeding therapy sessions at Therapy Matters NY, our licensed speech-language pathologists/ feeding therapists:

• Provide comprehensive feeding and swallowing evaluation which includes assessment of oral-motor structures and function, analysis of food repertoire, and behavioral analysis;
• Provide caregivers with a list of recommendations and hands-on strategies to implement at home immediately after the initial evaluation;
• work in close collaboration with other health care professionals such as GI doctors, allergists, pediatricians, nutritionists and others to ensure we cover from all stand points;
• strongly believe in “family” therapy and involve every member of the family throughout the entire process.
